From primary to high school, MAMS takes Moroccan students to five international competitions, from national selection to the podium.

IMSO

International Mathematics and Science Olympiad
Primary · under 13

An international olympiad in mathematics and science with three parts: short-answer, essay and exploration problems, plus STEM presentations.

MAMS role: Exclusive local organizer; selection through Math Stars; online and in-person training in Rabat.

International Mathematics Competition
Middle school · KS2 and KS3

An individual and team competition held in English with olympiad content, joined by leading countries such as China, Vietnam, the USA, Bulgaria and South Korea.

MAMS role: Exclusive local organizer; six students selected through Math Stars 2 and an in-person camp in Rabat.

Náboj

International team competition
High school · teams of 5

A free international contest for teams of five students representing their school. It lasts 120 minutes; each correct answer unlocks a new problem and the team with the most solutions wins.

MAMS role: Organizer of the Moroccan edition since 2024, across several centres including Laâyoune and Targuist.

European Mathematical Cup

A proof-based olympiad competition. Rabat hosted its first Moroccan edition on 20–21 December 2025.

MAMS role: Organized with ENS Rabat and CRMEF Rabat.

IOAI

International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence
High school · AI

An international olympiad in AI. National selection runs through MOAI, with online and in-person training in algorithmic thinking and Python.

MAMS role: Exclusive representation of Morocco, granted by the IOAI international committee.

  • FAIO 2026: 4th of 400+ teams in the online round, invited to the final in Kazakhstan
