Math Stars: a pathway, not a one-day contest
An early talent-detection program for primary students, from the first test to international competitions.
Five stages
Detection
Successive national selection tests for primary students (grades 4–6).
Training
Regular online sessions with MAMS trainers, following the international syllabus.
Advanced selection
Harder tests and an in-person selection at CRMEF Rabat.
Excellence camp
An intensive camp in Rabat, at CRMEF and the ENS annex.
International stage
Teams for IMSO and IMC are chosen on merit, with parental consent.
First edition · 2025
The Math Stars 1 camp in Rabat in May 2025: workshops, problem solving and a certificate ceremony. It led to Morocco’s first IMSO participation in Malaysia, 2025.
Second edition · 2025–2026
National selection rounds, then an in-person selection in Rabat and online training. The IMC 2026 (Mongolia) and IMSO 2026 (Indonesia) teams came from it.
